6th Grade IBMYP
We study Space and Rockets in 6th grade. We want to know things about Space, like what is out there? Why are we as humans spending so much money, and risking life and limb on Space exploration? Is the International Space Station really necessary? During our semester in IBMYP Technology we will be using this theme to learn how to search the internet, create documents and photo presentations, and other computer tools. As we learn about rocketry we will end our time together by building and launching rockets, both water and igniter rockets. In two years, when we make it to 8th grade, we will visit the Johnson Space Center in Houston to see where it all happens.
