Here at Star Factory, we are extremely passionate about those who have an undying passion to be seen or heard via their abundance of talent that is waiting to explode. In other words, NEVER wake up a sleep walker ;)In May of 2005, a dreamer named Brandon Smith took a leap of faith and decided to start a cool biz that would fill a void in his hometown that is over saturated with extraordinary talent. 5 years later, 600 clients later, and with a new facility, Smith and his staff of vocal trainers, choreographers, stage coaches, producers, studio engineers, and songwriters have cornered the market of artist development. Based on several success stories, Star Factory is now a nationally recognized brand that is changing the scope of artist development. MAGIC (How We Do It)We turn potential into reality! What could be, into what should be!! In a nutshell, we transform singers, rappers, dancers, producers, and songwriters into marketable artists who understand what it takes to make it in the music industry. We do this by developing our clients mentally, physically, and emotionally through intense workshops that include vocal training, stage presence, studio etiquette, media training, dance choreography, songwriting, production, ear training. We call this our "do try this at home" policyOnce our artist clients are 50% developed, we extend our production company services in an effort to find a unique image and sound for each and every client. This is done through intense studio sessions with some of the best producers in the business, as well as image consultations and makeovers conducted by our all star image team. We call this our "anti-cookie cutter" policy.It is important that our staff develops a personal relationship with each and every client to ensure customer satisfaction and uniqueness so that every client ends up with their own sound, style and swagger! We call this our "alter ego" policy. Once our clients reach a certain benchmark in their development, we then extend various platforms to our clients such as performance opportunities, tours, auditions, paid gigs, internet promotion, radio play, and major record label consideration. We call this our "buzzin" policy. Yes, we are aware… lots of policies. (wait until you see our handbook lol)Although we are unable to guarantee any level of success in the entertainment industry, we do, however, guarantee that you will improve immensely!! Fresh from Portland, OR, R&B recording artist, Princeton Richardson found Star Factory by way of an audition that Boyz II Men was hosting to find fresh new talent. He soon enrolled in SFs GET MADE Artist Boot Camp and SF became his new home. Its seems as if Princeton did a complete 180 after 6months into his development at SF. With his new found swagger, incredible stage performance and finely tuned voice, SFs Kenny Valentino put together an extremely effective promotional scheme to brand Princetons name and hot single. 1 year later after opening for every major artist that came in town, gaining respectable radio play, and headlining a school tour, Princeton was able to stir up a buzz so loud in Detroit that labels around the country began to keep tabs on him. Princeton, recently signed to music manager Nikki Timmons, is currently pushing his 2nd single Youre The One and entertaining several production deals from reputable companies across the country. STAR FACTORY APPROVED

Pen Pal walked into Star Factory asking for an opportunity to express his passion for songwriting. A year and a half later, Pen Pal inked a lucrative publishing deal with Avant Garde/Universal Publishing. Within the first month, Star Factory allowed Pen Pal to co-write with nationally acclaimed producers Bei Maejor, Troy Taylor, Chris Henderson and D. Dorohn. After 6 months of co-writing with the Star Factory team, and learning more about song structure, vocal production, Pro Tools, and mixing, Pen Pal began to extend his brand by entering song writing competitions and establishing his own relationships with reputable producers. Through two producers he met through Star Factory, Pen Pal was introduced to Clarence Avant, who immediately fell in love with his zany personality and awesome writing ability. In January of 2009, Pen remarkably signed his 1st publishing deal. STAR FACTORY APPROVED

Tyra, Sheena, Erica, & NuNu all entered the Star Factory doors in search of individual artist development and walked out 2yrs later as the country's number 1 unsigned viewed girl group on youtube (www.youtube.com/BOiSings2u). They also managed to receive tons of radio spins on their debut single Let Down My Hair. With heavy interest from major management and recording companies, BOi remains one of Star Factory's greatest success stories to date! STAR FACTORY APPRCVED!

Laderryl "JiG" Hart, was taken under the wing of Star Factory CEO, Brandon Smith, even before the doors of SF were ever open. JiG, a choreographer turned Pop/R&B entertainer, built an amazing fan base through his massively popular school tours. He was also offered a regional distribution deal through Sony Red during his stint with SF. Deciding to go another route, JiG and Smith started SFs first dance company, JiG Saw Worldwide, which grew to astronomical proportions and helped put SF on the map as a dance powerhouse in Michigan. His success with JiG Saw allowed him to land dance jobs touring and in music videos for Missy Elliot, Gnarls Barkely, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Joss Stone and more. Currently JiG is signed to indie label LIVE the Music Group and poised to enter a label deal in early 2010.STAR FACTORY APPROVED
