Stanley Johnson ~ Writer & Creative Director
I am a multi award winning creative person. A pioneer of non-traditional advertising thinking, I have worked primarily in direct and digital agencies.
During my career I have held Creative Director positions at multinational agencies in both London and Melbourne, as well as helping to found an agency start up.
My BrandDNA blog has featured three times in a global list of Top 50 Marketing Blogs and was also named in Brand Republic's esteemed BR-200 list of influential blogs.
I also write a monthly column for Marketing magazine and have spoken at conferences, the Festival of Design and at Melbourne University.

HSBC - Financial advisors print ads
Over the last few years worry and stress are the only constants for anyone who has invested their hard earned money. These ads are to promote a product that takes away the worry for financial advisors and their clients.
Vegemite - Digital success story
I'll be honest, this video is overly long. But watch it and you'll see how we built an online presence for this much loved Australian brand.

W.url - Big thinking made small
Getting your agency name into Twitter is easy. Getting it into other people's tweets is much harder, but we did exactly that with W.url - An agency created link shortener that puts the Wunderman name into every link it shortens.
In just one year 3,470 links were shortened, resulting in approx 76,500 click throughs. Based on data analysis an estimated 5,000 people per day see a W.url link. That equates to around a million views of the Wunderman name in Twitter and social streams.
Nissan Part & Accessories - Coolant / Oils print ads
Trade advertising doesn't have to be dull or cliched. The ad on the left shows how Nissan Coolant keeps your engine as cool as an Esky, whilst the ad on the right shows how Nissan Oils will keep your engine young.
Yellowglen - Website & Social Media
It's always nice after a pitch win to actually get to create the work you'ved pitched. For Yellowglen we created a website as bubbly as the brand, whilst promotions and activities came into their own through social streams, especially on Facebook.

In 2010 I became a member of the ADMA Agency Council executive committee, where I was instrumental in implementing and launching the ADMA Mentor Scheme.
My commitment to young talent is well known. I helped set up and run the ADMA Creative School in Melbourne, as well as playing a key role in the establishment of Junior – Australia’s premier resource for aspiring creative talent.
