Attention students of Smiths Station High School: If you are interested in joining the Panther News Network or Journalism staff (PantherNews.com), there are applications available with Mr. Ames (Room 305). The deadline for applications is February 4, 2011. Applications must be turned in on time along with an essay stating why you want to be a part of the staff. You must have three teacher recommendations, one being from either current or previous English teacher. Mr. Ames will call for an interview with you at a later date after the application is admitted or deadline is up. Please note that the sooner your application is received, the greater chance you will have of being admitted into the class. It wouldnt be wise to wait until the last minute to turn the application in. All completed applications must be turned into Mr. Ames or his mailbox. Please see Mr. Ames or any current staff member if you have any questions.
