UC San Diego
Student Sustainability Collective
Styrofoam Project
In 1989, the University of California, San Diego approved a code that requires all businesses within the main student hub, Price Center, to avoid Styrofoam containers when at all possible. In 2010 a group of students finally decided to hold them to that code.
They've compiled what they found here for you to use as a resource in your efforts to eliminate styrofoam from your school, work and town.
