Sunday School
Grace offers a Sunday School program for all 3 year-olds through 12th graders from 10:30 11:30 am. The curriculum this year is Spark! from Augsburg Fortress. Students will open their Bibles and engage God's word each week! They will also learn hymns and music of the faith during music time, and occasionally help to lead worship through song. Middle and high school students also have time for fellowship and service projects during class.
Rally Day
September 13th!!!
Rite of Confirmation, October 25
We will celebrate the Rite of Confirmation on Reformation Sunday, October 25th. Please plan to attend worship on this very special day when our confirmation students affirm their desire to continue in the vows their parents made for them at baptism.
Men's Bible Study to Resume
Men of the congregation are invited to Bible Study on Thursday mornings at 6:30 a.m., at Big Apple Bagels, 6105 O St. This fall we will begin with study of Paul's First letter to the Thessalonians. Bring your Bible, all men are welcome!
Wednesday Night Bible Study Opportunities
Crossways, 6:15 p.m.: Dan Warren will continue this class, begun last fall. This is the ultimate travel-guide for a journey through the Bible, developed by Dr. Harry Wendt of Crossways International. Thirty sessions remain in this series.
The Divine Drama, 7:30 p.m.: This 30-session course has 16 units on the complete Biblical storyline, and 14 units on the themes arising from scripture. This is another course developed by Harry Wendt, and taught by Dan Warren.
Day Camp at Grace
Day Camp was a wonderful experience at Grace this summer. For 5 days, kids ages 3 to 5th grade learned about the love of Christ and serving their neighbors. We had cookouts, games, crafts, bible stories, music and FUN!!
