GIFTS back to THE SCHOOL

A few PLANS for this year.

In September, we plan on donating a large sign for the gym which will say our alma mater. This was requested by the principal and school board in hopes that our class would donate a larger one than what is in the lobby. At the bottomof the poster it will read "Donated by the Class of 2010", this will cost about six hundred dollars.CLASS MONEY RAISED AS OF RIGHT NOW: $4,590 (as of September 2009)Some of the fundraisers we are planning include:September: - Car Wash -Put box in lobby for bottle drive - Class T-Shirts -Guessing JarOctober: - Chittenango Bear tattoo's for pep rally - Pep Rally: After School Hours -scary movie night: scary movie night has been CANCELLED! Due to work being done in the auditorium :/November: -TBADecember: -UNO GRILL night! WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9th January: -Washer and dryer raffle- carries on into MarchFebruary: -Washer and Dryer RaffleMarch: Washer and dryer raffle cont.April: -Spaghetti Dinner APRIL 29th, 6pm - 8pmMay: -2nd CARWASH , MAY 29thJune: TBA WHY ARE we doing SO MANY FUNDRAISERS? We have high hopes of raising $10,000 for our senior class (to go towards all of our exciting, upcoming events). This should be plenty of money for us to not only give back to the school but also have a number of events for us to look forward to in our last year of high school.

SENIOR dinner DANCE

For our senior trip we're planning on having a vote on the best place to go this year! Last year the seniors went to Hershey Park in Pennsylvania and this is an option for this year as well. The meeting will be held in FEBRUARY 2010.A lot of the money we raise will go toward our Senior Dinner Dance. This will be an end of the year formal event..Sort of like a Senior BALL but with food. :-)This is our last event of our high school career, we want to make it memorable. We will be posting updates for information on our last ceremony as high scholars. Pep rally... AFTER SCHOOL HOURS!We will be holding another 'rally' right after schools out, to get everyone even more pepped up for homecoming. There will be music, games, refreshments, a football tournament, and more! This will be held in the large soccer field(outside of the gym).
