What is this nonsense?
A long time ago in a galaxy filled by just one person, the idea of performing for others was just a dream. Armed with nothing more than a tape recorder, a collection of music that would make any sane person wonder, and a hair brush, this closet entertainer would entertain the masses in the mirror until one day, the roof started losing its shingles and the dog became hoarse from howling. The parents knew one day their child would be in front of millions, paying for their psychiatric bills after they lost their sanity.
Today, this same person is hitting the airwaves to bring her enthusiasm for entaining, sarcastic take on life and love for music to the airwaves in Southern Ontario.

Today I pulled out my can opener and began to open up a can of worms. Then I thought to myself, "Self, what are you doing?"
When is the insanity?

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, known professionally as Adele is an English singer songwriter. She was the first recipient of the BRIT Awards Critics' Choice and was named the number-one predicted breakthrough act of 2008 in an annual BBC poll of music critics, Sound of 2008. She is a multi-Grammy Awards nominee who has won two awards, Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 2009.
Adele attracted the attention of XL Recordings with a three-song demo posted on MySpace and subsequently signed with the label. Since her debut, 19, Adele has received much recognition both commercially and critically. The album debuted at number one, and has been certified platinum in the UK. Her career in the US was boosted by a viewer record breaking Saturday Night Live episode in late 2008.
Adele is scheduled to release her second album 21 in early 2011.
Created in 1985, Dear Aunt Agnes was a children's show that aired on TV Ontario. The show debuted on Tuesday, Jan 7, 1986. The show's premise was that a divorced mother called her Aunt Agnes to come and take care of her children so that she could take a job in another country. Agnes Peabody was a lovable 65-year-old eccentric who moved in with her pre-teen nephew and teenage niece. Agnes was not fond of, nor understood the seemingly modern amenities of her new home. Agnes was also very fond of Elvis Presley.
The show was designed for eight to twelve year olds with a conscious effort to create a non-traditional family situation in which children are given the responsibility for a lot of their decisions.
Dear Aunt Agnes was canceled after two 13-episode seasons which aired that same year. It aired in reruns for a couple of years before returning in 1989 with new batch of episodes in which Andrew and Alex were all grown up. In this last season, the problems the kids encountered reflected their age, tending to deal with issues that affect teens.
Another character, a twenty something, single male named Gary, lived in the upstairs apartment.
The exterior of the house was filmed at 121 Crescent Road, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
As Arctic blizzards swept across southeast England, stranding hundreds in their cars and bringing motorways to a virtual halt in whiteout conditions, Kent police received a strange call on their emergency number.
“I haven’t been out to check on him for five hours but I went outside for a fag (cigarette) and he’s gone,” said the female caller.
When the operator asked who had gone she replied: “My snowman. I thought that with it being icy and there not being anybody about he’d be safe.
“It ain’t a nice road but you don’t expect anybody to nick your snowman,” she added.
Police were most definitely not amused.
“This call could have cost someone’s life if there was a genuine emergency and they couldn’t get through. It was completely irresponsible,’ said Chief Inspector Simon Black.
