JSoc is here to help Jewish students find their feet in Southampton, to meet other Jewish students at the University and to provide as much help and support with being Jewish as possible; we welcome non-Jewish students, whether you're interested in Judaism and Jewish culture, or just in finding out more about us!
We run regular events based around the Jewish calendar, as well as regular socials and Sabbath meals. One of our biggest aims is to foster closer links with the Jewish community in Southampton and South Hampshire; another is the important goal of interfaith dialogue, to encourage communication and links with other faiths and their societies. We also have links to the Union of Jewish Students.
