La réalisation et la production de deux clips est également signée par le néerlandophone Bart Leus pour les titres Forward et Wally Wally. En live, Sista MIKA peut aussi compter sur l'énergie de l'un des meilleurs backing band reggae belge : « The General Dub Progress ».Un cocktail détonnant ! MIKA comme MICHALAKOUDIS Sophie MICHALAKOUDIS est d’origine grecque et a évolué, depuis son plus jeune âge, dans un monde artistique et multiculturel. Après des débuts dans la chanson française, elle se dirige vers le reggae en 1988. A cette époque, elle prend le nom de scène de MIKA. Parmi les grands noms du reggae qui ont influencé son style, citons Black Uhuru et en particulier son chanteur Mykal Rose. Sa carrière est aussi le fruit de nombreuses rencontres artistiques et d’échanges avec plusieurs grands noms du reggae, comme Duckie Simpson, Steel Pulse, Dubcreator, Omar Perry, etc. Présente sur plusieurs compilations reggae et à l’occasion de nombreux festivals, elle jouit d’une réputation incontestée tant sur la scène reggae belge qu’internationale. Bien qu’ayant obtenu gain de cause dans l’affaire d’homonymie qui l’opposait à la star pop britannique, MIKA a choisi de devenir Sista MIKA avec «Road of Life» pour se distinguer de celui-ci et d’en finir avec le préjudice lié à cette confusion. Sophie MICHALAKOUDIS (Sista MIKA) is one of the seldom rare women on the reggae scene.Since 20 years, she imposes her style and her ideas through an intermixed and liberty marked music. Independent and passionate, Sista MIKA is a self-made woman who created her own label “Only 4 Music” in order to produce her music without making any concession to the record industry.
