11.09.10 Back to Arizona
The job market in California is still very rough, therefore I will be moving back to Arizona and re-connecting with old contacts and working as an indepdendant contractor. I have 2-3 gigs lined up already as I push for full time work.
1.04.10 Move to San Jose, CA
After some long hard thinking, I decided to move back to my home in San Jose, CA. I learned a great deal working at UNIQ and will take the knowledge and experiences with me to my new ventures. I hope to connect with my friends production company, Guerilla Wanderers, and find some multimedia work as I continue to build my resume and skillsets to one day make the big move to Los Angeles.

2.25.09 The Casting Call.TV
Currently I am working on an upcoming TV show called The Casting Call. We are looking for AZ's hottest talent to become the next big TV host. We go around to the hottest clubs in AZ and find characters and beauties alike, to see if they have what it takes to be a host. My current positions on this show are co-creator, executive producer, lead editor, and cinematographer. Check out the television section to see the current test pilot for the show.
I have always had a passion and love for the arts. From the age of 7 I've been playing music, whether it be singing or with an instrument. I pursued music and acting in middle school and high school, but I always had a love for computers. My passion for computers and acting led me to want to become an animator. I wanted to work on movies like Toy Story, or Monsters Inc, or The Incredibles. I figured it would be a great way to combine my love for acting and computers to fulfill both my passions. So after searching online for some schools to fufill this need, I ran into UAT, saw their great programs, packed up and left for Arizona.
After taking the first DV class at UAT, I fell in love. I decided to move onto the next level just to see what it was all about. Animation and modeling classes grew tedious, so I decided to drop being an animator and become a filmmaker. With my decision made, I changed my major to Multimedia / Digital Video, and pursued it full force.
Now I am trying to find any niche I can for myself in the industry. I have always been a firm believer in developing as many skill sets as possible in order to increase my chances for success. So I have dabbled in just about everything I can while attending UAT. I've trained up as a grip / crew member, done production sound, trained in visual effects, and now have become a skillful editor / director / producer /cinematographer.
Background
I am a 23-year-old California native; born and raised. Currently I reside in Scottsdale Arizona. I first moved to Arizona in 2005, where I attended the University of Advancing Technology and received a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Video and Multmedia.

48 Hour Film Challenge - Flippin Love
Co-Writer / Director / Team Leader
This particular piece is very interesting. It was done for the IFP 48 hour film challenge. In this challenge we had 48 hours to write, produce and edit a film. However, there were guidelines given to us at the start of the 48 hours. Each team was given a genre, a prop that must be handled by a character, and a line of dialogue that must be said. In this challenge we were given comedy, a spatula, and "How did that get in there?".

Freelance
During my residence in Arizona, I created freelance work for myself with Scottsdale Desert Stages Theatre. As anyone who is going through college, side cash is always a bonus, so I came up with the idea of making trailers for live theatre. Community theatres always have trouble with advertising properly for their shows. Most community theatres only provide a show synopsis, and then tell people to come and see it. In order to help theatres bring in a new audience and fill more seats, I designed trailers for them to post on their website and to use for promotion. With this new concept, viewers from all around could were able to get a clear grasp of what the show was about and how it would look / sound. The concept behind using trailers to increase ticket sales was to have it plant a memory that inspired excitement about an upcoming show.
