Mentoring the next generation of artists
Free Sol Youth Arts Academy
The Free-Sol Youth Arts Academy provides community arts programming with an emphasis on community service projects. Arts workshops include graphic design, silk screening, literary arts, and music/video production. Youth are matched with local artists, teachers, college students, and community leaders who volunteer their time and expertise to help young people develop a marketable skill. In exchange youth use their skill to develop and implement community service projects. In addition, we partner with local schools and organizations and provide arts workshops supported by mentors and led by our youth leaders.
