"Listening can heal wounds."
"The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen."
"Healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it."
I have experience with the following:
Licensed Professional Counselor - Intern (#66059)
From treating children and adolescents dealing with a variety of childhood issues to helping them regain strength after suffering abuse, I have helped children heal from difficult wounds. I have also worked with adults who are struggling to cope with major stressors in life, including healing from childhood abuse, domestic violence, depression, anxiety and PTSD.
I am a compassionate counselor who listens from my heart and believes that therapeutic relationships empower clients. I welcome you to call or email me today so that we can begin your healing journey.
I am currently supervised by Jana Jernigan, LPC-S (#20085)

My theoretical orientation is derived from two different theories. These two theories are Existential therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral therapy. This orientation allows me to tailor my treatment according to your needs.
Existential therapy focuses on the human condition and feelings of being alone, while cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on our thinking and how it impacts the way we feel.
Clients will often be asked to complete assignments outside of the therapy office, in order to make the most from our time spent in session.
I offer a FREE initial 10 minute phone consultation.
All appointments are scheduled at a mutually acceptable day and time and usually occur once a week. If you must cancel an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.
Initial 80 minute session = $110
Additional 45 minute sessions = $70
Cash or Check only.
I currently do not accept insurance or credit/debit cards, however I have a limited number of spaces for sliding scale clients. Please call for further details.
