About me
Hi, I'm Ann. I design and make homeware and other handcrafted bits and pieces in my home in rural Scotland. I take my inspiration from the bright colours of nature and the cosyness of curling up in front of my wood-fire.
I make items that I want in my home or as part of my life - I often make things for myself, before deciding if they deserve a life in the outside world.
Sustainablity
I try to use recycled, organic and/or fair-trade materials as much as possible. But I am currently working through a large stash of reclaimed materials that I have been collecting and hoarding for the last 10 years.
I try to live as sustainably as possible while living in a modern world, which is reflected in my choice of materials and packaging.
