Kim Wood
Kim's mission is to provide the highest level of professionalism to each and every client, through a friendly, sanitary, and creative environment, thereby, building a long-lasting relationship of trust and commitment. Kim attributes her success to her roots in education and expertise through practice. Employed by M-A-C Cosmetics for nearly five years, Kim had the opportunity to apply makeup on every kind of face from young to mature, male and female, and every just about every skin tone imaginable. This allowed Kim extensive training, traveling to Dallas up to five times per year to learn hands on application techniques and Master Classes from six trainers and Workshops in HD makeup from senior artist Gina Batelli. Kim served as product specialist for two consecutive years, had work printed in M-A-C's update training book spring 2009, and was recognized as the first feature artist for winter update 2010 in the south central area. Hungry for success, Kim departed from M-A-C in June 2011 to pursue more opportunities with her Makeup and Fashion Design career. Currently, Kim is freelancing; making up faces for Blush portraits at Amber Wallace Photography studio, model workshops at Bevington Studio, and doing collaboration work with artist LaDonna Stien in Dallas.
