We strive on promoting creative artists who break the boundaries of film, video and music. We give original filmmakers and artists a voice in a market typically saturated with commercial entertainment designed to satisfy the audience's expectations. THE VENUE_Cinefest was held at the beautiful Riverview Theater in Minneapolis.

"Even though we feature state-of-the-art projection and sound systems, our customers enjoy the opportunity to "step back in time" and experience movie-going as it was in the 50s, when neighborhood theaters were in abundance. Some of our customers walk to the theater and enjoy arriving early in order to relax in the spacious lobby on the mod couches and chairs."

Slate of Mind is currently developing a web based comedy series called "Behind the Camera". Visit the official website : Background: For the Minneapolis Cine-Fest Film Festival in 2008, Slate of Mind produced a mockumentary style show to play in between films that screened for the festival. It received such an overwhelming response we are now developing more shows for a web series.
