We know that every student entering second grade will be successful in everything they do! We work to create students who are confident and motivated to be independent and responible learners. We encourage exploration through daily activities and experiences.

We create a positive classroom experience for all students. We agree that a classroom is a place to learn about subjects and ourselves without the fear of failure. Through thoughtful planning, we have developed a classroom experience that will allow all students to feel successful and reach their highest potential!
Qualifications:
Mrs. Breisinger is a 2001 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. After substitute teaching for a year and then working in Maryland for a year, Mrs. Breisinger was hired by Propel Schools. She has worked at Homestead for three years now. Mrs. Breisinger is actively involved in many aspects of Propel. She organizes Math and Literacy Nights, Mentor Activities, Market Day, and Boys and Girls club events. She is currently working on her National Board Certification!!!
Ms. Koschik is a 2001 graduate of University of Pittsburgh. She moved to Florida and taught first and second grades for five years. During this time she also received her Masters of Reading from the University of South Florida. In 2010, she moved back to Pittsburgh and began working at Propel! This is Ms. Koschik's second year at Propel. She is also working on her National Board Certification!
