Mike Haren (Chef & Founder)
*At age 19, Michael Haren works at a four star restaurant as Assistant to Executive Chef Michael Kantor, winner of the James Beard Award. Mentored by Kantor for two years, Michael Haren learns the foundations needed to create classic gourmet cuisine.
*1999: Michael Haren lands his first Sous Chef position in New York City at a well known restaurant where Haren personally caters for big name accounts, such as Saturday Night Live.
*At age 21, Michael Haren moves to the position of Head Chef at a landmark restaurant in New York City catering for celebrity and fashion icons such as Frederick Fakai.
*Chef Mike then continues his career as Head Chef, making his mark in the industry while working along side, and learning trade secrets from some of the most recognized chefs of the world, such as Todd English, Alan Wong, Henry Kessler, and Roy Yamaguchi, to name a few.
*Chef Mike takes the position at Leona Helmsleys Four Star, Park Lane Hotel, as Executive Sous Chef and Personal Chef to Leona Helmsley. Chef Mike serves his original cuisine to such legendary names as Donald Trump.
*2003: Chef Mike begins to establish his unique style of cuisine as he runs a trendy union square restaurant frequented by celebrities, musicians, and sport stars. His catering gigs include FHM, Ladies Home Journal, and Faliscimo.
*2005: Chef Mike becomes the talk of Tinsel Town as Head Chef to the A-list celebrity hot spot, The Belmont. Celebrities in every field flock to sample his carefully crafted cuisine. Chef Mike serves up Political Leaders, Presidents, Royalty, Musicians, and Movies Stars alike.
*Chef Mike caters to almost every celebrity in Hollywood with his Academy Awards and Vanity Fair Parties.
