August 2009:
I took Noah (purebred gelding, Kolognes Mr TNT) to the Oregon Foundation Quarter Horse Club show at the Mt. Hood Equestrian Center in Boring. We entered only two classes, both trail classes, and this was our first time competing in trail. Noah was a doll, as I expected, and he "passed" with flying colors! We won 1st place out of 5 horses in the All-Breed Open Trail Class, and 3rd place out of 7 horses in the All-Breed Mountain Trail Challenge! It was an excellent experience, and we were extremely happy with his first competition! We are looking forward to many more trail challenges and competitive trail rides next year!
