Unlimited poses and wardrobe changes. The sitting fee not only includes the photography session, it also covers a pre-session consultation, viewing/print ordering, and minor retouching. Additional fees may be incurred for sessions outside the Aurora area and in-home shoots. These prints are created with printers that expose light sensitive paper that is then run through a chemical process. These are real photographs, not inkjet prints. Float WrapsFloat Wraps are similar to Gallery Wraps or Standout mounted prints in that they add dimension by extending out from the wall. Float wraps are unique in that they appear to be floating on the wall with the main focus on the image! Create a modern display with a Float Wrap wall collage that is ready to hang once removed from the box! Float Wraps are created by wrapping the photographic print or canvas print around masonite to create a thin wrap. The print or canvas is protected with a laminate and padding is added between the print and the masonite to give the front of the Float Wrap a raised, elegant look and feel. SchedulingPlease email Trish_MeeksPhotos.com to schedule a consultation or an appointment. If we are photographing children, keep naptimes in mind when requesting an appointment. If you are scheduling a maternity appointment, the best time is between 32 and 37 weeks. Newborn sessions should take place between birth and 2 weeks. I find the optimum time is 4-7 days old. If scheduling an outdoor session the best time of day is between 3pm - 5pm.ConsultationI recommend having a pre-session consultation so I can learn more about you and what you would like from your photo session. This consultation can take place over the phone, by email or in person. If we will be shooting in your home, an in-home consultation is helpful for me to evaluate the light and background environment. Shoot DayYou can expect your session to last up to one hour. Try to be at the shoot location at least a few minutes early for any last minute primping. The remaining sitting fee balance is due at the end of the session and is payable by cash, money order or paypal. A 3.0% fee will be added to all paypal payments. Making the Most of Your Portrait SessionVery simple garments photograph best. Avoid busy patterns as they'll draw attention away from your face. Darker clothing tends to minimize body size; lighter tones tent to emphasize body size. Couples and groups should wear the same tonal ranges and its a good idea to keep bottoms darker then the tops. Your feet will show in the portrait, be sure to choose shoes and socks that coordinate with the rest of your outfit. Men should have there hair cut about one week before the portrait session. Feel free to bring as many clothing changes as you like. You may also bring any special props that are meaningful to you. The more we plan your portrait in advance, the more successful your finished portrait will be.Viewing/Placing OrderThis process should take about 30 min. Prior to this appointment to prepare for ordering, you may want to compile a list of who you would like to purchase prints for and sizes. If requested, an online preview can be posted before your appointment to aid in the selection process. At your viewing I will show you a slideshow of the selected proofs from our session (at least 20 different images) in high resolution. You will be placing your order at this appointment, so it is important for all decision-making parties to be present and for you to know what you would like to order. Your order will be in your hands approximately 2-3 weeks from the time you order. All images are destroyed if no order is placed with in 45 of the shoot.Policies*If you are late to an appointment you will be charged $25.00 for every half hour.*If you must cancel an appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.*Payment for prints is due at the time of order. I am looking for enthusiastic, energetic and fun-loving high school seniors who want to be representatives for Meeks Photography! As a rep, you are an ambassador for our studio during the last few months of your junior year. Of course, being a senior rep comes with perks including a complementary mini modeling session and saving tons of money on your own senior portrait package!HERES HOW IT WORKSI select students to rep for me who are in the last half of their junior year. If selected, I will contact you to schedule a mini modeling session in the Aurora area. Mini modeling sessions are scheduled in your junior year and last about 30 min. Shortly after the mini modeling session, you will receive personalized modeling/rep cards to hand out to your friends at school during your junior year. Your rep cards will include two or three of the amazing images taken from your mini session along with your name and our studio information. As a senior rep for Meeks Photography, your job is to pass out your modeling cards to all your friends during the last few months of your junior year and to encourage them to pre-book their senior portrait session with us during summer break. All the information they need to schedule their senior portrait session will be on your rep cards. There is room for just a handful of senior models to rep each year. You must fill out the application below if you want to be considered. I will contact you if your application is accepted. Thats it! It's really that simple! BEHIND THE LENS
My name is Trish Meeks and this is where I tell you a little about myself.. I was born in Paducah, KY but I grew up in a small town named Elizabeth in the beautiful state of Colorado. My father was Chief Investigator for Elbert County Sheriffs Department and my mother was a dispatcher. I worked in the medical field for a long time and now have 2 amazing sons and a wonderful husband. I have a home studio in the South Aurora area and love outdoor shoots anytime of year. Growing up I spent my summers with my Grandparents in Missouri. My grandmother would trustingly hand me her camera, load me up with photography books and film. Then would say "go have at it". It was something I would get lost in for hours and still do. I also had a wonderful uncle who was an amazing nature photographer. He would give me tips and try to point me in the right direction. Above all was my Grandfather Bill Meeks. He was in love with portraiture and always dreamed of having his own studio. In a sense I am carrying out his dream with Meeks Photography.. I love the candid shot and the face of a child. I do enjoy shooting nature and wildlife just as much. There is always something fun around to capture. I also have a huge "thing" for old photos. I love everything about them, and feel its very important to capture every moment as much as possible because the memories may fade but photographs will last for years after us, to bring back those cherished moments. I take my time with all my clients portraits. I want to create somthing that they will cherish generations from now and will become part of the family history.
