The Antigua Dragon Association is an initiative of the Harmony Hall Yach Club and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina to promote competitive sailing in the Caribbean Island of Antigua.
Our fleet consists of 8 identical Dragon Class, 3 crew, keel boats that remain in the Island all year round with the racing events running mainly during the north hemisphere's winter season (Nov-Apr).
The Dragon's philosophy of gradual evolution within one-design principles has produced a boat with state of the art rig and boat handling controls that remains one of the few top level racing classes where sailing skills still predominate over crew weight and fitness.
The Antigua Dragon Association boats are build under a modern intepretation of the class rules by the Petticrows Yard in the UK and are considered to be among the best new build Dragons available today.
