Massaged onto the skin by hand at lukewarm temperature and then molded against the natural direction of hair growth. With a flicking motion the hair is gently removed in the natural direction of hair growth. Regular sugaring treatments results in a less painful, more thorough removal of hairs as it allows for slower growth of which hair can and in some cases lead to permanent reduction.PREPARING YOUR SKINIf this is your first treatment please alloow the hair to gorw 5-7 days prior to your appointment. Hair must be 1/4 of an inch long. Hair being removed for the first time may be more restistant. Afterwards as the root becomes smaller, it will remove easily as it thins. If you are pain sensitive, please take a mild analgesic 30 minutes prior to your appointment.Do not wear any lotions, deodorant, oil or any skincare product on the area you intend to have sugared.Do not expose your skin to the sun for 24 hours to your appointment as we cannot treat skin that is sunburned.Please dress comfortably and Please note: Clients should not be sugared if they are taking Retin-A, Retinol or Accutane. Undergoing procedures such as: Glycol Acid Peels, AHA's, Salicylic Acid Peels, Jessners, microderm and IPL- Intense Pulse Light.

AFTER CARE & MAINTENANCE

Avoid touching your freshly sugared area with dirty hands. Avoid working out for 12-24 hours after service.Avoid sun tanning for 24 hours, as skin will be more sensitive to UV rays.EXFOLIATE! EXFOLIATE! EXFOLIATE!Gentley exfoliate at least 3 days a week to prevent ingrown hairs, breakouts and to keep your skin healthy.Avoid loofahs as they are difficult to dry and clean and harbour bacteria. Nylon gloves or exfoliating towels work the best.We suggest avoid perfumed soaps and products that contain chemical irritants on sugared skin for 24 hrs after treatment. Do no apply deodorant to underarms and avoid makeup for upto 12 hours after sugaring.Do moisturize on a daily basis 24 hours after treatment.

Skin care tips Your Top 10 Skin Annoyances Solved!#1 Combo SkinFor combo skin ,treat it like it's dry, with gentle medical grade moisturizer, like Skin Medica's Rejuvenating Moist on the whole face and de-grease the T-Zone, I like Lerosett clay mask used 1-3 x's pr/wk.#2 Pesky PimplesFor better or worse, fighting acne is more of a long, drawn-out cold war than a quick battle. If you stay viligant with treatments and consistent with your skin care regimen, you'll see results. NO SOAP! The chemicals in harsh soaps and cosmetics can cause skin to dry out, become inflamed, and trigger more breakouts. Use a medical grade cleanser like Skinceuiticals and a noncomedogenic moisturizer. Spot treat a blemish with a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide solution. #3 Dark Skin SpotsIf you have dark skin, a slight mark (from pimple popping or plucking a stray hair) can turn into a hard-to-remove hyperpigmented spot. First wear a dual sunblock EVERY DAY, or you'll get new spots and the ones you have will get darker.Second, use products with retinol, niacinamides and soy-all have been found to fade hyperpigmentation.
