Our photographic approach explores going beyond seizing the metaphorical moment and concentrates itself in the value of long term photography studies. Our purpose is to create a more ambitious framework designed to increase the implicit meanings situated within the still photograph.
Adjusting the Signal
New Courage
Students from Charlotte's South Mecklenburg High School visually discuss courage through the lens of the projected landscape[television]. This project was created during the the Levine Museum of the New South/McColl Center for Visual Arts Fall 2011 Artist residency. The student photographs will be on exhibition at the Levine during the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

The Ripple Effect
A contemporary visual response to the US civil rights agenda from students of the Center for Documentary Studies Duke University (2010) and students from the Watkins College of Art Design and Film, Nashville, TN (2009).
Vested Interest
Residents, ages 50+, and youth from the Hillside neighborhood in LsGrange, GA visual response to gentrification. This project was created to raise awareness about affordable housing and to strengthen a sense of community. 2009. Funded by Communities in Schools of Troup County and DASH LaGrange.
