The charity hosted at Deville Ink was a success! Thank you to everyone that came out and supported a great cause. As we believe, even the smallest donation contributes to the cause! If everyone contributes, even a little bit, it usually leads to massive impacts for great causes/charities! If you can donate, please do! It's always appreciated, even if you never really get to see the cause/effect in person, you'll know you did a great thing in the long run....

Let's go in reverse this time! What's up next and going first in the news....
This Saturday January 14th at DeVille Ink Tattoo & Piercing Co. located _ 5920 Eastern Avenue 11am to 8pm for the "Tattoos 4 Charity Event". All proceeds go to Big Brothers/Big Sisters! We should all be there throughout the day, come hang out with us and all the festivities going on that day! Maybe we'll even play an unplugged song or two? In advance, we/Silvertung and the great staff at Deville Ink along with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and many other great sponsors thank you for your support! Stop putting off that tattoo you've been talking about, c'mon down and schedule or get it done! Special is the Baltimore Ravens "B" emblem for $30 (all proceeds to Big brothers/Big sisters). Thanks!
Noise in the basement was a great kick off show for us for 2012. Thanks to all the fans that came out to support us and the others on the show.
Ok, what the holy cow is with the schedule? Well, one thing that we could not predict or change is the loss of a venue and some date shuffling last minute. Rather than getting you excited over dates we post and then having to explain why we are changing it. And, since it's all changing so fast right now, we believe that as unfair to you. So, we'll post a show or two out there soon with plenty of time to make sure you can go! :)
As always, we appreciate all the support and generosity you've given to us. We, as always, just want to do right by you. So, we're shuffling things up as well. Get ready....it's gonna steamroll you if you're not paying attention!

Welcome to the new year! Let's get this one kicked off right! And it starts..........right..........now....
The 2012 calendar is coming soon, but for now the 1st show of 2012 is the coming on Monday - 01.09.2012 _ the Baltimore Sound Stage. Tickets are $5/ea and the show is all ages! Now before the show on Sunday 01.08.2012 Silvertung is doing a radio interview for Noise in the Basement on 98rock _ 9pm sharp! Make sure you tune in! All tickets can be pre-purchased in our Online Store!

Hailing from Baltimore, MD, SilverTung brings a fresh, infectious sound to the area's music scene. In 2005, this four man modern rock band self released their first full length CD "The Pawn", featuring songs such as "Slow Me Down", "Lies", "I am", "Dig" and the title track "The Pawn". These songs have successfully stood the test of time,and remain the favorites of fans, both new and old. And now with the new teaser track "Deja Vu" from their upcoming album, they step forward and prepare everyone for another strong album! Just like a drug, everyone is hot on Silvertung's heels to get the new studio release!
Currently, SilverTung is in the studio with Producer/Engineer Steven Wright,who has worked with national rock artists Slipknot, U.N.K.L.E, Misery Index, Drowning Pool, SR-71, Charm City Devils and Avril Lavigne. Welcome to the new home for Silvertung!
It's all new, feels new, it even has that new website smell! (Whatever that is...)
These are exciting times! But, as we all know and you've seen it in recent times, there have been several updates, changes, philosophies that have been in constant motion and you've hung right in there with us!! Thank you! (This is the first of many to come!) And most importantly, we think we're finally finding a nitche, a solid working formula, a way of distinction and the break from the norm. But, most importantly....the Silvertung way!
We hope you'll like the new site and that you'll let us know what you think of the new duds. :) We are going to be constantly & diligently working on updates and as this site evolves you'll be there to watch it all happen.
SO! Onward.... NEXT!
We're glad you're here and some new things are coming down the pike in the not so distant future. One of them is the built-in Official Silvertung Online Store for your spring, summer, fall and winter colle....ok, that's maybe not so funny, but you get it. The Silvertung store will include but will not be limited to; the merchandise you can buy at our live shows, concert tickets and much more! Who knows? Maybe we'll even auction off a band member? ......or 2? And, the ever hateful question -- the soon to be released new CD aptly named..... [CENSORED-WE'RE NOT TELLING YOU YET]! hahaha! Sorry, couldn't help it. But....soon, everyone, soon! We promise, it will be done, it will be out! The finishing touches are being placed on the last few songs and then it's just about waiting for the studio time to come around to record it! That's what we're waiting on next.... But, we appreciate ALL your support and input on all the songs we've sampled with you along the way!
