At dreamspawn, we believe your dreams are powerful things and have found that when given the proper framework for persisting, forming, and ultimately creating their dreams (rather than just carrying them around internally), people have a tremendous success rate of creating the things they are uniquely gifted to offer the world. INITIATION >> A NEW WAY
The first step is to see things in a new way - to transform your perception of the value of dreams. The fact that your mind is fascinated with a dream gives it intrinsic value; however, we teach you about the value of persistence - the initial expression of a dream in a format you can evaluate. Once released in this initial form, you can decide if it is something you want to continue to create (bring to physical reality); pass it on to another person who is gifted to create it; or just introduce it to the world as a vision or idea. Once you realize the instrinsic value of persisting dreams, we can help you select the proper one that you want to spend your precious and scarce attention resources on creating -- this is every person's destiny.
FORGING >> YOUR DREAM
Once you engage our staff to help you bring your dream to reality, we help you become a qualified patternsmith - you will use your natural talents to pitch in (with our help) on moving your dream from thought to thing, using your persisted dream as a blueprint. Where the demands of your dream don't intersect with your talents, our staff and technology will help you assemble a pool of talented architects, engineers, and smiths who will assist you in forging your dream. Now persistence becomes a regular ritual that changes your dream's form - your dream is taking physical or virtual reality.
YOUR DREAM << A REALITY
As your dream progresses in taking form, our release staff begins to take the place of your forging team as we help you finalize and release your dream to the world. After all, even though creating in itself brings satisfaction, things are not complete until you have the satisfaction of distributing your new creation for others to enjoy. Whether you are creating a business, a product, a new career, or anything else, our talented release staff will connect you with the resources to fully launch your dream. Also, you'll have a fully interactive version of your creation in virtual form that can inspire others with similar interests or aspirations (or even yourself years from now). About Us
DreamSpawn was founded in 2009 by a group of individuals who wanted to see people's dreams become a reality - after ThingkAge's main product offerings and the set of resources from the PatternSmithing Alliance were realized to offer a unique way to bring about this possibility - our dream of watching other people's dreams become a reality was realized. In fact, here's our secret: we used the very same technology and process you will be using to bring our dream, a company called DreamSpawn, to reality. Pretty recursive isn't it?
ThingkAge, Incorporated
ThingkAge, Inc was founded in 2009 by Joel Kotarski. It produces several products and technologies centered around one notion -- getting people to bring their creations to reality. These creations are called ThingKs, a portmanteau of thing and think. ThingKs are a flux between thought and thing. Anyone is free to use the technology; however, DreamSpawn was started as a company to be a guided process so that you, our new creator, can take your passing idea, a think, into a fluxpoint that begins to form into a ThingK, and finally your dream is spawned into reality.
The DreamSpawn Process
INTIIAL CONSULTATION
Your dream is important. We're already convinced of that - the problem is you might not be or worry the world won't be. This initial stage isn't a pep talk, sales pitch, or initiation in a cult mentality. This is getting you to see a full vision of your dream from start to finish and give you the strategy to help persist it out into some form. It is left for you to decide how you bring it to the world - as merely an expression of the dream as a concept (that someone else can create whether you sell or share it with them) or as something you will work to fully create with our staff and talent pool. Whatever you decide, we will ensure you have the full perspective and all the data needed to make a sound decision. Once you engage our staff, however, we will insist you go to the next stage... Persistence.
PERSISTENCE
You are setup with lifelong accounts with a private group with the following ThingkAge properties:
Your consultant will work with you to create your initial Thingk set that encompasses your Creation -- this initial persistence has already moved it from thought to thing. ThingkStream will give you the tools to shape, expand, and refine your creation throughout your life. Making it a fluxpoint will allow you to find collaborators in our network both passively and actively (via technology). Finally, patternsmithing will get you the tools to create your dream in physical reality and work with individuals face to face to make this happen.
FORMATION
The formation or incubation period is the most important. The ThingkAge products you've been assigned to require diligence and hard work; however, a strict regimen sets in as your consultation staff fades away and is replaced with a team of static pattern professionals (engineers, architects, and smiths) that will take the word 'persistence' to a whole new level - you realize that you are going to be persisting (with diligence) until this dream/creation is a reality and that it will require you persisting (expressing) on a monthly basis. Our dedicated staff will work with you and soon you'll meet our release staff who will be constantly prepared to receive you on the next step.
RELEASE
Release happens when your original think, after several iterations as a Thingk-In-Formation becomes an actual Thing, ready to release to the world. Whether it is a product or a company, our release staff helps you to secure the appropriate legal protection (patents, copyrights, trademarks, company structure) so that you can release without any doubts. The static pattern professionals who helped you in the design and implementation stages can help in evolution and distribution as well. Your dream, which was once just an idea, is now a reality.
Thingks
Our first steps will be to reorient your perspective to see your dream as a collection of Thingks - thoughts that are on their way (with the effort of both you and our staff) to becoming things. Our partner company, ThingkAge, runs a site called thingk.com and offers the community free access to a toolset for persisting and creating their thingks throughout life. The company also offers premium tools to those willing to pay for them for shaping, expanding, and refining their Thingks - as a DreamSpawn client you will have access to the full set. Also your content will remain securely protected under the DreamSpawn company account - a feature offered to small and large companies by thingk.com to protect intellectual property. Later you will have the option to transfer and release your thingks to the world at thingk.com.
FluXpoints
Your dream, now a collection of thingks, will become a set of FluxPoints, another partner product of our parent company. FluxPoints enable confidential or open collaboration via semantic web technology based on the semantic markup of the context of your thingks, and thus your overarching dream. We have a network of collaborators setup tuned to fluxes through our company fluxpoint, dreamspawn.fluxpoints.com. Not to worry - your dream is completely confidential - however, we will use this technology to find potential collaborators (architects, engineers, and smiths) for you as you move toward creation.
PatternSmithing Alliance
As a member of the PatternSmithing Alliiance (patternsmithing.com), we will put you through training to become a fully accredited patternsmith and plug you into the 'human network' of professionals who can help you carry out your vision. You'll be learning a lot throughout the persistence, forging, and release of your dream, which starts as a vision, becomes a set of thingks & fluxpoints, and finally a reality through the work you do with our staff and collaborators through the patternsmithing alliance.
