The fastest and most effective way to learn to dance is through private instruction.
Here at Shall We Dance Studios, we are proud to have some of the highest quality private instruction in the south. Group Classes are fun and provide step variety, additional practice for your dancing, and social interaction. However, it is a common misconception to think that a person can fully learn how to dance by exclusively taking group classes. Private lessons are a must for any one looking to truly learn how to dance.
Shall We Dance Studios is proud to offer Social Dance Parties twice per month. Open to the public for $30/ person, and $15/ person for active members, our fun and patient staff always throws a terrific party!!! Our Social Parties are the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month from 7pm-9pm.
Group Classes
BALLROOM 101, group classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm for those students who are currently NOT taking private lessons. This class focuses on the 6 major social dances: the Tango, Waltz, Fox-trot, Rumba, Cha-Cha and Swing. Dances are taught on rotation, making it possible to join the class most any time of the month.
Group classes are done as a monthly membership, starting at the beginning of each month. Membership is $130/person/month. The more classes you attend, the lower your cost per class becomes.
Shall We Dance Studios extends a special discount to those students who are actively taking private lessons….group class membership for these students is only $65/month.
“Create Your Own Group”
Take advantage of our “create your own group” classes, which are reserved for that special client who has their own group of friends and/or family who wish to have their own specially-tailored private instruction, within a group class setting. Number of classes per week (minimum 1/wk) is completely up to you and class times are scheduled at your convenience. We require a minimum of 4 people to reserve this class. The cost is $30 per person/class, and a minimum 4 weeks worth of classes must be scheduled and paid for upfront.
