Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plants - Russia, Europe( £8 Million).
The dynamics of this transactions had required the management
team member of Soloman~Hill to have vast knowledge of the
pharmaceutical industry, and the direct investment laws of Russia.
It also required experience in structured finance. This transaction
involved one of the largest pharmaceutical distributing companies,
with an annual revenue of US $1.2 billion.
Office Building-UK, Europe (£90 Million). The client required finance
for the purchase of a rental income office building. The complexity of
the transaction was to minimize equity exposure. The member of our
management team was involved in the lead arrangement of the finance.
This transaction had required experience in swap rate, structured finance
and asset investment bonds.
Condo Hotel Real Estate Project- Miami, USA (US50 Million). A New York based development company had required finance for the acquisition of a
mix use Condo Hotel development involving one of the worlds' top flagship
hotel management company. This transaction was complex due to the
capital structure for the acquisition which included the purchasing of shares
and rectification of the project existing assets. The management team
member of our company was involved in structuring and raising the debt
finance for the development company. The design of the exit strategy for
the acquisition lender was vital to arranging the financing for this venture.
Oil & Gas Acquisition - USA ( US160 Million). Our management team member was in charge of the structuring and arranging of the
finance for acquisition of a oil company which had extensive drilling
interest in Europe. The complexity of the transaction was to arrange the
finance through a hybrid company using the existing and producing oil
production.
Fiber Optic Company Acquisition USA, (US 80 Million).
This acquisition involved the cquiring of the plants, factories
and certain assets of one of the biggest fiber optic company
in the USA. The plants and factories were located in the USA
and Mexico. Soloman Hill management team member was involved in arranging the finance for the transaction.
The complexity of this transaction was the immediate forming
of a hybrid business with the acquired assets and using the
income of this business to service part of the debt.
Flagship Hotel Development - Panama , Latin America
(US 20 Million). This finance transaction required knowledge
of the finance laws of Panama and securitisation of foreign
entities assets in Panama. Having experience in swap currency interest rate was also very important. Our management team member was involved in the debt finance for the USA hotel development company.
Commercial Real Estate Development Mexico Latin
America (US 40 Million). This transaction included one of the hotel industrys biggest management companies. The involvement of our management team member in the
arrangement of the debt finance for this $40 million real
estate development was not just limited to the core business
but also to the hybrid businesses. The transaction required
synergy between the finance structure for the core business
and the hybrids.
Commercial Real Estate - South Korea, Asia (Combine £150 Million & £250 Million). The key members of our management team were involved in the lead arrangement for this venture finance transaction. This project was one of the biggest in the region. With three different corporate finance and venture capital companies involved in this £400 million venture, it required a finance structure which provided synergy between the financiers who were providing both the debt and equity financing.
