Choosing a photographer to capture your Wedding Day can be quite a difficult task what with the costs involved, searching through portfolios to find the images that speak to you, and then of course finding a photographer you trust and feel completely comfortable with.I always tell my clients to shop around, just because a photographer charges an arm and a leg doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get photos you love, and on the flip side, just because a photographer seems to be charging a little less, doesn't necessarly mean you're going to get photos of a lesser quality. Pricing doesn't always reflect service either, and on such a special day you deserve to have a photographer who understands exactly what it is you like and don't like, and knows exactly the kind couple he/she is working with and adapts accordingly. If you're a fun-loving, adventurous couple, the last thing you need is to have a photographer who is impatient and abrupt. Your day should be magical, you should not feel like youre still at school! Do your research, look through portfolios, make a short list and meet with the photographers you're interested in using. Portraiture

Being a mom of two I'm well aware of thechallenges that are faced when shooting children. The key is lots of patience, and seeing the experience through the child's eyes.Studios can be a daunting place for children, so I offer an "At Home" service, where portraits are shot at the clients home, where the little ones are most comfortable. I don't place a time limit on family or children's portraits, I work at the child's pace, so mom's don't feel panicked or anxious when faced with a fussy little one. The experience should be fun-filled, and one to remember!Shooting at other suitable locations, such as Kirstenbosch Gardens, or the beach also result in lovely portraits if you're going for something a little more natural.The combination of their comfort and an array of props, results in photos you'll love and cherish foreverGALLERY
