About Us

St George's Pre-School is based in Wash Common, Newbury run

by a committee of parents and staff. It is a child friendly, stimulating

and happy Pre-School.

We are committed to preparing your child for compulsory education in a caring and safe environment where the emphasis is on having fun whilst learning the desired skills in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our intake ranges from two and a half years up to five years.

We are Ofsted registered, our registration number is 511117. You can read our last Ofsted report, from October 2008, here .

* Lunch Clubs are available subject to demand.

Pre-School Fees

Fees

We can obtain funding from West Berkshire Council for children aged 3 and over for up to 15 hours per week. The entitlement to funding currently starts at the beginning of the term following the child's 3rd birthday. Click here to view the West Berkshire Early Years and Childcare pages for Parents. Hourly Charges (minimum stay 2.5 hours per day)

Under 3's - £3 (£4 from Sept 2012)

Over 3's (non-funded extra sessions) - £3.78 (£4 from Sept 2012)

* For 3 year olds receiving funding lunch fees are only charged if your child attends more than 15 hours a week.

Fee Payment

We can accept payment for session fees/lunch club fees

in a number of different ways - Cash, Cheque or Direct Bank Transfer (BACS).

If you would like to pay your invoices via direct transfer,

please contact the Treasurer and he will then forward our

bank details to you.
