Mismikado Creations is a full service design firm that specializes in event designing and your individual creative needs. We can do anything from invitations & photography sessions to the complete developing of every aesthetic detail of your event.Mismikado Creations was founded by Sebrina Schultz in 2009.About SebrinaSebrina has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Professionally, she has been an artist since 2006. This has included painting, photography, graphic design, print production, and crafting.Sebrina grew up in an eclectic, creative, supporting household where individuality and productivity were encouraged. She can't remember spending a single day without some craft project strewn about the house. Her childhood was spent going to sign industry trade shows and learning crafting skills from a long line of woman in her family.These add up to the sum of who she is today and what she is trying to offer the world. In addition to the custom products and photography services she's been offering, she is now offering Event Design services. These are explained on our Services page.But why Event Design?In January 2009, Sebrina began planning her May 2010 wedding and instantly fell in love with everything weddings. As a hobbyist party planner and research connoisseur, she definitely has countless event ideas up her sleeve. The financial side of wedding planning can be one of the most stressful things for a couple so strive to alleviate these issues and help you breathe easy knowing exactly what your money can and will get you.Designated MOH PackageIf you are a bride like I was, who is at a distance from her loved ones and bridal party this package will be perfect for you. You will be matched with your very own "wedding elf" whose sole purpose is to do your bidding :) Your designated MOH will help you select, order, and mail invitations while managing your guest list, tracking RSVPs, and arrange seating charts. She will provide bridal party assistance by instructing bridal party members on their intended roles and etiquette while providing damage control if conflicts should arise. Assistance is available in selecting wedding attire for the entire party along with hair, make-up, and accessory selection. She will also advise the bridal party in shower planning and help bride select and assemble bridal party gifts and bridal party luncheon.Shower of Rehearsal Dinner Planning & CoordinationIf you've ever swooned over those glamorous couture wedding and bridal showers you've seen in magazines and on tv then this is the package for you. What is an event designer and why do I need one?
To us, it's all about the aesthetics. We are the obnoxiously anal people that fixate on all the little details that make your event amazing. We don't manage your wedding or provide contract review services. Instead we focus on making sure your event is beautiful from beginning to end. We want to create an overall mood that uniquely mirrors who you are. There are so many little details that often get forgotten in the big picture but seem like pivotal elements when you remember them. We strive to save you from the time consuming stress of taking a crash course on flower genus and place setting etiquette. So why stress about being an expert in all these details when we already are? Let us step in and be the "fairy godmother" of your event and make sure everything comes out as beautiful and creative as you always imagined.

What is the process of working with an event designer?
First: The ConsultationWe arrange a complimentary meeting to discuss your ideas and plans for your event. We want to get to know you as people and find out exactly where we would fit into your plan and budget. Using this information we will determine the scope of our work and provide you with a basic quote for our services.Second: The Inspiration Board ProposalBefore you even sign a contract, we want to be sure that we are on the same page. Over the time period of about a week, we will collect inspiration images, color samples, and fabric swatches that we believe will fit your vision. Then we will use these to create a mock-up or inspiration board to better help you see our overall goal for your event. Of course this board will be yours to keep to help you continue in your planning with or without us.Third: The Design Plan in ActionNow that we have decided on the overall scheme and budget, we dot our i's and cross our t's. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required upon signature of contract and a monthly payment plan will be instituted after that. Although it is not required, we strongly encourage our clients to purchase wedding insurance in order to protect all parties. We are more than happy to help you chose the plan that's right for you. The entire process is founded on open communication and a steady flow of creativity. As the months progress, things are bound to change but we promise to stay on track and always strive to keep you happy while maintaining your budget.

Is an event designer in my budget?
Yes! our job is to give you everything you've always wanted aesthetically while staying within your budget. When we sit down and crunch numbers with you, we include our service fee into your overall decor budget. In fact, since we are professionals we can help you save money since we have the connections and know how to obtain discounts and suggest less expensive alternatives to keep your overhead cost low.

Do you work on weddings outside the DFW Metroplex?
We love to travel and are willing to work on an event anywhere! However, we would require you to cover all the travel expenses for a minimum of two people from our team.
