An impassioned and textual artist, Sydney designer LINDY SMITH developed her unique range of jewellery designs based around the differing styles and tastes of her family, friends and her own sense of elegance and sophistication. Lindy also counts as her influence her many years working in fashion, modelling and photographic industries. Lindy's talent has since become recognized for its unique style which captures the beautiful with the feminine in bold and bright designs, which are now available to the discerning collector.
Lindy grew up in Sydneys colourful & alternative inner west, where she developed a cultural awareness that has stimulated her thirst to travel throughout Asia, United States, Europe and the United Kingdom, collecting rare & unusual beads, gemstones and crystals along the way. Lindy's greatest inspiration, however, comes from the sea. Its vibrant colours and the delicate, flowing forms of marine life such as the Jellyfish and Seahorse, provide the inspiration behind the name - SEAGHOST.
Each piece of jewellery created by Lindy contains these elements of her passion, her pursuit of art and her love of the Ocean. Like the aquatic world that inspires her, no two pieces of jewellery are the same. Each is individually crafted to suit the unique tastes of the client.
