KPS Raku ^ 08- 10 $ 27.00 Fires gray-stony white in reduction at Cone 10, off white at Cone 8 oxidation, and bright white at Cone 05 (raku). It is a rough textured, low shrinkage body designed for large-scale, hand-built sculpture and tile work where thick cross sections (up to 1 inch) are anticipated. Contains 25% of 30/80 mesh grog. Coarse. 7% shrinkage
KPS 231 White Dove ^06-03 $ 27.00 Nice plastic body with good habits. Stark white, extremely dense body which takes colors well. Developed especially for lowfire, it is very strong and gives a nice clear ring when tapped. Oxidation
KPS 255 Schoolhouse Red ^06-8 $27.00 Pleasant, red-orange to red-brown body designed for school use, but is an excellent, general use terra cotta. This is a plastic body with sand for forgiveness. It will handbuild and sculpt well. It is also a good choice for throwing and has a uniform color. Glazes well. Very economically priced. Bisque cone 04.

KPS 262 GRAY SPECK STONEWARE. $29.00 Cones 4-8. Unique cool Greg base color with attractive fine to medium speckle. A very friendly body that is well suited to oxidation functional ware. Gives a look of reduction without the fuss. Designed to work especially well with Amaco Sahara glaze line and Spectrum 1100 series glazes. Warms with a clear glaze. Reduction look without the hard work. Contains manganese. Fine grog. Oxidation.
KPS 333 Black Raven 6 $40.00 A true stoneware, not a basalt-type clay. Beautiful flat black color that warms with a clear glaze. Because this is a high iron colorant clay, it will not take every glaze, but is striking with minimal glazing. The glazes this clay takes will be truly spectacular, the ones that don't work, you will truly hate. Please run test tiles, it is well worth any extra effort. Very attractive dark brown at cone 04 which deepens to black at cone 6. We recommend a cone 04 bisque with slow beginning and middle stage fire. Glaze firing should be slow in beginning stages. Contains manganese. Fine grog. Oxidation.
