Based in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, I have been a Photography instructor for over twenty years. Certified in 1994, I took up underwater photography while volunteering on a CEDAM International Conservation Project in Akumal, Mexico. In 2000, I was Named Photographer of the Year at the Canadian Underwater Images Competition. I Use A Nikon DSLR in an all Canadian Aquatica Housing with Sea & Sea Strobes for my underwater photos. I have been inspired by many photographers: special thanks to Rick Sammon, Roger Steen and Mo Morrogh for teaching me to see the beauty in the miniscule. My favorite destination for photography and diving is Indonesia: lembeh strait tops the list for variety and amazing critters.
