Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates website!
The regional society is an organization of nurses and other healthcare providers engaged in the practice of Gastroenterology/Endoscopy. The regional society shall promote and provide education and information to its members: it shall advocate optimal care for patients with digestive disease and those udergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
SGNA is committed to providing continuing education for GI nurses and associates that appropriately fits their needs. The society offers a growing library of online education modules that allows members to obtain additional education credits without having to travel to a training seminar!

When applying for membership in SGNA, it includes a membership not only on the national level but your local region as well. Our region is # 49, which you will need to document on your application.

Article 1 – Name
The name of the organization shall be the South Carolina Lowcountry Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (hereinafter “regional society”). The regional society is a chartered regional society of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (hereinafter “SGNA”) and is subject to its bylaws and policies.
