In 2009 Scott Appleton established Flaming Pen Press to release his debut Fantasy novel
Swords of the Six
. The book garnered praise from readers and critics alike.
Scott held signings at stores and schools in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachuesetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina.

In 2010 Scott completed work on his second novel
Offspring
and AMG Publishers invited him to speak with them concerning his planned 7-book-series. A couple weeks after his meeting with AMG, Scott received a 3-book-contract offer. Currently he is working on sequel novels and various fiction projects!

ABOUT
The author
Scott Appleton
was born December 1985 to loving Christian parents.
Raised and homeschooled in Connecticut, at age seventeen he graduated early from highschool and traveled to Thailand as a student missionary. While there he began writing a fantasy fiction story that, over the course of the following years, he developed into material for a seven-book-fantasy series.
He self-published his first novel Swords of the Six after creating his own publishing company Flaming Pen Press. His first novel sold over 3,000-copies in one year. Consequently he received a three-book-contract offer from AMG Publishers.
He is married and he and his wife have been blessed with a son. He gives credit for his success as an author to God, his parents, and his wife.
