Why didn't someone tell me at my senior prom that I could've had a makeup artist?I guess the idea seemed far-fetched and inaccessible, yet the reality is that it was not. Had I known otherwise, I might actually have cherished my photos from that evening instead of saying, 'what was I thinking with that eyeshadow?!' My motto is this: Having a makeup artist should be as commonly accepted as getting a haircut because-- let's face it-- we can all use a pro's eye once in a while. With HD photography and video technology on the rise, we need to look our best for those (permanently)-documented occasions.Thankfully, you don't need to end up like me after the prom; but know that there are many differences between my team and a sales associate from a makeup counter at the mall: 1) I am not limited to one brand, but instead a variety of only the best professional lines. 2) I have no product to sell or sales quota to meet.
