Our Story
Santa Barbara Preserves Co., founded in 2008, is owned by Meghan Collinge and is operated by Meghan and her mother, Julie McGovern. Meghan & Julie always choose the freshest, best tasting ingredients to create their exceptional and often original, flavors. With a preference towards local ingredients and no artificial sweeteners, SB Preserves creates truly artisan preserves.
In mid 2009, SB Preserves was approached by a mother-of-the-bride with a request to create a personalized wedding favor as a surprise for her daughter's wedding. Based of the color lavender, they created a delicious Apple & Lavender Jelly with a customized hang tag. Soon after, they began receiving many more requests for this service. Finally, in early 2010, SB Preserves introduced Events by SBPreserves, a division of the company devoted entirely to fully customizable artisan preserve favors.

Santa Barbara Preserves Co. started making artisan preserves almost two years ago, and today they specialize in 100% custom wedding favors from their delicious line of artisan jellies, jams and fruit butters. Santa Barbara Preserves Co. customizes everything about your wedding favors, from the jar shape and size to the design, tags, labels and flavors.
The artisan preserves are made from natural ingredients in small batches, and Santa Barbaras current offerings include: Rose Petal Jelly, Raspberry Habañero Jelly, Triple Berry Jam, Cranberry Apple Butter, Vanilla Pear Butter and much more.
