Elementary Comprehensive
School Counseling
Mission Statement
The purpose of the elementary comprehensive school counseling program is to provide services, resources, and activities that facilitate the academic, personal/social and career development of all students, as well as assist students in becoming able learners capable of realizing their potentials. It is the responsibility of the school counselor to use educational, community and home resources to foster this development, and to be an advocate for the student’s interests, while providing for their overall well-being.

In April, all 3rd graders will have a PEP Talk with their School Counselor and parents. Watch for sign up times at your next Parent/Teacher conference.
We look for a 100% of our students talking to their parenats about the Resumes they have worked on all year. The resume is the main focus of the 3rd grade year and the school counseling classes.
PEP Talks take place in Grades 3, 6, 8, 9 and 11. Third grade lays the foundation for all the other talks through high school.
