to my photo book
When?
I'm beginning to believe photographers are genetically-inclined toward taking pictures. My father's father loved photography. My father inherited this desire to capture moments in time. I now find that I myself have become a photographer and have begat a photographer.
How?
I don't know, but I'm glad I have inherited it and I'm proud to have passed it on. Photography has brought me joy and an occupation. Photography in my work as a school public relations director and as the owner and operator of KolboDesigns has always preceded the words that follow.
What?
I think I'm trying to find a structure for discovering the pattern and importance of the photographs that inform and define my life.

ABOUT ME
KolboDesigns is an LLC that specializes in School Public Relations. I, Sandra Kolbo, am both the owner and the operator of KolboDesigns. I have a Secondary Education Degree in English, a Master of Arts degree in English Literature and over twenty years of experience in School Public Relations.
My skill set includes: photography, website design and maintenance, desktop publishing (InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.), and, because I initially trained to become an educator, I understand the nuances particular to a school community. Some of my work can be viewed at
