Welcome to the Impact Church Website.
Our Vision is PLUG IN ---POWER UP---IMPACT
PLUG IN to community. The community of believers is vital for our transformation into the image of Christ. We encourage all believers to PLUG IN to our Sunday Worship Celebration at 10:00 AM, our Mid-week Training Tracks and also our iConnect Groups meet at different times and various locations around the region.
P OWER UP for service. Churches are called to equip the body for the work of ministry. This equipping occurs as we PLUG IN to the body of Christ and also as we POWER UP with the Word of God. Impact Church offers in depth and uncompromed teaching of the Word of God and teaches the inherent power of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
IMPACT the community and the world with the love of God. All believers are called to be salt and light and we have a responsibility to change our community and our world. Impact Church is very involved with community efforts and combines with other like minded churches and believers to reach our city and our world for Christ.
History of Impact Church
Impact Church International was birthed in 1981 as Faith Covenant Church under the leadership of Pastors Lester and Donnie Robbins. After answering the call of God to start a new work, they purchased the old sanctuary that once housed All Saints Episcopal Church, located on the corner of Spring Street and Cabarrus Avenue in downtown Concord. A new sanctuary was built at the site in 1992 and today the church operates as a debt free ministry. Pastors Lester and Donnie are still involved today as President and Vice President Emeritus.
The church now operates under the leadership of Apostle Donna Wise and the ICI leadership team and continues to move under the direction of the Holy Spirit. We place high priority on the Presence of God and the authority of His Word.
Impact Church is a non-denominational church and continues to preach and teach the inerrant Word of God. We believe Impact is called to make a difference in our community as we transform lives and bring the body of Christ into maturity.
What We Believe
The Scriptures. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of Holy Men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine (II Timothy 3:16; I Thess.2:13; II Peter 1:21).
The Godhead. Our God is One, but manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Philippians 2:6; Matthew 3:16-17) God the Father is greater than all; the Source of the Word (Logos) and the Begetter (John 14:28; John 16:28; John 1:14). Jesus is the Son of God, One with the Father; the Word flesh covered, the One Begotten, and has existed with the Father from the beginning (John 1:1; John 1:18; John 1:14; John 10:30). The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal (John 15:26).
Man, His Fall and Redemption. Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the works of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God (Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23; Romans 3:8-9; I John 3:8; Galatians 3:13-14). Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God (Ephesians 2:8).
Eternal Life and New Birth. Man's first step towards salvation is Godly sorrow that leads to repentance. The new birth is necessary for all men, and when fulfilled produces eternal life (II Cor. 7:10; I John 5:12; John 3:3-5).
Water Baptism. Baptism in water is by immersion and is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christians identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection and represents the power of the resurrected life in the believer (Matt. 28:19; Romans 6:4; Col. 2:12; Acts 8:36-39).
Baptism in the Holy Spirit. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to those who are believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance (Matt. 3-11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Acts: 38-39; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:4).
Sanctification. The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation (Heb. 12:14; I Thess. 5: 23; II Peter 3:18; II Cor.3:18; Philippians 3:12-14; I Cor. 1:30).
Divine Healing. Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and it is the privilege of every member of the Church today (Mark 16:18; James 5:14-20; I Peter 2:24; Matt. 8:17; Isaiah 53:5).
Resurrection of the Just and the Return of Our Lord. The Angels said, This same Jesus shall so come in like manner. His coming is imminent. When He comes, The dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air(Acts 1:11; I Thess. 4:16-17). He shall return to the earth, as King of kings, and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign a thousand years (Rev. 20:6).
Hell and Eternal Retribution. The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or for repentance. The lake of fire is literal. The terms eternal and everlasting used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in noting the duration of joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence of God (Hebrews 9:27; Rev.19:20; Hebrews 6:1-2).
Gifts to the Church. We believe the five fold ministry as seen in Ephesians 4:11 is still fully available and operational in the church and is necessary for proper governmental structure in the local body.

Worship Pastor - Charlie Daniels
Charlie first met Pastors Donna and Terry on a mission trip to Nigeria in March of 2008. He and his wife, Darcey both felt the Lord leading them to move to Concord in August of 2009 to “"help"”, whatever that might look like, though there were no open doors, ministry positions or employment of any kind promised at that time. They both felt something significant was in the works for this church, city and region and were compelled to be a part of it. In fact, Charlie resigned his position as worship leader in one of the most progressive and influential churches in the northeast to come and be a part of God'’s plans for this area. They have 2 teens, Lydia and Micah, who both are pursuing God as passionately as their parents.
Charlie began leading worship in church as a teen and has been doing so for over 30 years. To find out more about the ministry of worship at Impact and what we believe concerning it, please click the following link:
Worship At Impact
Worship at Impact
Worship at Impact is not just something we do. Worship is an integral part of nearly every gathering at Impact, only because we believe the One we serve is deserving of such worship. During any given “worship service”, you may observe many varied forms and acts of worship. Some may be kneeling, some may be dancing, some may be shouting, some may be crying, etc. Everyone is encouraged to worship in the freedom that Christ has given each of us, but worship none-the-less.
We believe the following about worship at Impact:
1. Worship is not for a select few, but for everyone.
A. Psalm 149:9
2. Worship should be in spirit (led by the Holy Spirit) and in truth (according to the Word).
A. John 4:23-24
3. Worship opens the door to healing.
A. Matthew 8:2-3
4. Worship brings relief and deliverance.
A. 1 Samuel 16:23
B. Matthew 15:21-28
5. Worship is a catalyst for miracles
A. Acts 16:25-26
6. Worship creates an atmosphere for prophetic ministry to flow.
A. 1 Sam. 10:5
B. 2 Kings 3:15
C. 1 Chron. 15:1
D. Psalm 49:4
7. Worship is a weapon that paralyzes the enemy.
A. Psalm 8:2
B. Psalm 149:6-9
8. Worship is a joy and delight, and not a religious duty to be endured.
A. Psalm 35:9
B. Psalm 100:1-2
C. Isaiah 61:10
9. Worship is a regular activity in heaven. The Gk. Word for worship (proskuneo) occurs 22 times in the 22 chapters of the book of Revelation.
Come and celebrate together with us as we worship His great name!

International House of Prayer
On May 7, 1999, the International House of Prayer Missions Base was founded by Mike Bickle and twenty full-time intercessory missionaries who cried out to God in prayer with worship for thirteen hours each day. Four months later, on September 19, 1999, prayer and worship extended to the full 24/7 schedule.
The International House of Prayer of Kansas City is an evangelical missions organization that is committed to praying for the release of the fullness of Gods power and purpose, as we actively win the lost, heal the sick, feed the poor, make disciples, and impact the seven spheres of societyfamily, education, government, economy, arts, media, and religion. Our vision is to work in relationship with the larger Body of Christ to serve the Great Commission, as we seek to walk out the two great commandments to love God and people.
Combining 24/7 prayers for justice with 24/7 works of justice
On September 19, 2009, while celebrating our ten-year anniversary together, we made a sober commitment before God to combine 24/7 prayers for justice with 24/7 works of justice until the Lord returns. Outreach has always been a vital part of our mission. However, at that time, we set our heart to significantly increase our outreach and ministry. Thus, we are launching new outreach ministries that will continue 24/7 alongside our 24/7 prayer and worship.
Intercessory missionaries
We refer to our full-time staff at the International House of Prayer as "intercessory missionaries." They raise their own support to work as full-time missionaries who reach out to others from a lifestyle of prayer and worship. Today, about 2,000 believers (staff, students, and interns) serve full-time, investing fifty hours per week, as they go from the prayer room to the classroom and then to ministry outreaches and works of service. Also, as those who are committed to the forerunner message, we are preparing ourselves to prepare others for the unique dynamics of the generation in which the Lord returns.
Outreach
Our new ministries and outreaches include increasing our current inner city work with a mobile food truck and on-site food distribution, discipleship programs, a health clinic, provision of food and clothing for our childrens outreaches, big brother and big sister programs, and an adopt-a-block program. Other new outreaches include Hannahs Dream adoption agency and Exodus Cry, helping victims of human trafficking. In the future we plan to establish a Womens Life Center, which will provide homes and restoration programs for victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, prostitutes who respond to the gospel, and a crisis pregnancy center and birth mother homes to help women who refuse abortion and choose life.
We believe ministry is done best when our lives are rooted in prayer and worship that focuses on intimacy with God, as we intercede for a breakthrough of the fullness of Gods power.
Our Vision Statement
We desire:
1. To call forth, train, and mobilize intercessors to live a life of prayer as they preach the gospel, heal the sick, help the needy, make disciples, and seek to bring transformation to society; to make it our aim to personally live as fully devoted disciples of Jesus, who operate in the forerunner spirit.
2. To establish a perpetual solemn assembly in Kansas City by gathering corporately to fast and pray, because we recognize this as essential to establishing justice in society.
3. To train others to plant houses of prayer, churches, and/or marketplace ministries as the Spirit leads.
