Blossoming into reality from a young couple's dream, Salon J. Michael was created in Doraville, Georgia. Michael and Joni Higgins met in beauty school and married soon after. After working in some of the most prestigious salons in Atlanta, their shared dream of becoming salon owners came true. As salon owners, Michael and Joni strive to meet and exceed the need of clients, employees, and the community.
After ten successful years in the Doraville area the salon moved to Duluth, Georgia where many of the clients resided. Salon J. Michael is excited to announce after sixteen thriving years in Duluth we have relocated to Suwanee, Georgia. Our brand new studio is located at 8225 McGinnis Ferry Road. The new salon has an elegant, yet warm, down to earth atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
Salon J. Michael is known throughout the community as a highly compassionate organization giving thousands of dollars a year to a variety of causes. Our greatest asset is the exceptional staff, which is hand-picked and trained by Michael and Joni themselves. All employees are trained to meet the salon's high expectations and provide uniform excellence.

I went to Joni for the first time when a friend told me that I needed a professional to color my hair. He didn't care where I went, but if I wanted it done right, I should go to J. Michael's! He was right...always happy with Joni's "originals!"
