Based in the lower part of Salcombe town, the church building has recently been reordered. Chairs have replaced pews in the main body of the church and an upstairs glass mezzanine provides a new social space. There are now toilets, and office and a kitchen. The congregation seeks to place the worshipping community and building in the heart of town life. The benefice office is based here and enquiries can be made Monday to Friday, 9am to 12.30pm on 01548 842626 or via email Benefice_salcombechurch.co.uk
All Saints is the largest building in the South Hams and probably one of the oldest. The worshipping community work hard to provide excellent services and a whole host of social events for the church and village. The church has its own art club which meets on a Tuesday at 9am and a wednesday evening youth club for primary aged children at 6pm.
These two small churches are operated by the South Huish district church council. Right on the cliff edge St Clements, Hope Cove ,is particularly popular with tourists. Holy Trinity is set in idealic village of Galmpton and is a haven of peace.
