Lokjaw Music Group is a Christian Rap Record Label which recently has moved into filming Christians films. LMG was established in 1999, formerly known as Big Dogg Entertainment LLC. In 2002 the company name had changed to LokJaw Music Group LLC. The company has always been under founder Darrell Thomas. In 2006 LMG had reformed from a secular music label to a Christian label.
LMG has had several music artist. The first group under LMG is a rap duo- Darrell "The Saint" Thomas & Ben "Blaze-1" Ancrum. Together they are known as "Verbal Contact." Today these two are saved by Christ and are born again Christians. During the label's secular years LMG has had several other artist which have went on to pursue their own careers elsewhere. Young Spanky, Steadi Tempo, & D.J. Mama Cita.
Though we have parted ways they will always be a part of our history and we pray for each one that God watches over them, & bless their dreams.
LMG has released three secular cds prior to becoming a Christian Label. Poetical Checkmate- 1999, Welcome to the Hood- 2003, and Marked Territory- 2005.
LMG has released two Christian rap cds. The Trinity Within Me- 2007, and Alter Call- 2009. LMG will only produce music which will uplift the name Jesus Christ from this point!
In 2010 Darrell Thomas founder of LokJaw Music Group started filming music videos for the label's Christian Rap group Verbal Contact. The first video was titled "Life Without Parole," the second was titled "Quit Playing with God," and the third is titled "Bless Our Nation." It was at that point that God asked Darrell Thomas to start filming urban Christian movies that will keep peoples attention to watch. The first fim is titled "Missed The Calling." A film about the rapture taking place in the urban commuinty. LMG's Verbal Contact are both in this film. This is one Christian Film you don't want to miss...
Verbal Contact- is a Christian Rap Duo, which ministers the word of God reaching many lost souls. Also V.C. helps many Christians who struggle with listening to circular rap music, but giving them some strong Christian music in a rap form, that praises the name of Jesus Christ. Verbal Contact has also won Holy Hip-Hop Group of the Year, for the King Cat Christian Music Awards for 2008 and 2009. V.C. has also been ministering and performing all over the U.S. at festivals, churches, community outreach events, public schools, award ceremonies, and many other places. Verbal Contact’s new CD titled “Alter Call,” is a very unique CD with many strong messages from the Bible. There are many tracks that reach many different types of modes.
