Sacha's genuine love of people, his sensitive curiosity about their experiences, and his intuitive ability to capture special moments are a few of the things that make him such a gifted photographer.Sacha has traveled the world, documenting the honesty and emotion that his diverse subjects have been generous enough to share with him. Many of Sacha's photographs feature individuals he lived and worked with while volunteering in El Salvador, Mexico, Ghana, and Ukraine. As a result of this time and the many incredible families he encountered, Sacha donates portions from the sale of his work to charity, in many cases directly back to the very communities where he volunteered and worked. Professionally, Sacha has photographed for companies such as ABC, Disney, Touchstone, Entertainment Weekly, Hillel, Cinemarq Theaters, Katzman Architects, AJWS, The Brandeis Bardin Institute,and numerous other organizations both within the United States and internationally.Sacha first learned how to shoot by using his mom's 1977 Nikon FM manual film camera. He briefly studied photojournalism, and after many years of practice and even more rolls of film, he eventually turned his hobby into a profession. Sacha regularly teaches photography workshops and encourages anyone with a camera and curiosity to start shooting and preserve the moments that make life so special.
