I am Sabrina Tutstone, a seasoned vocalist that has been singing most of my life - song writer, mentor and musician.
I have been singing professionally since about 2004. I perform for a variety of audiences, venues and events throughout the world. In December 2010, I traveled to eight cities in Spain and performed a eight show Gospel Tour. The venues were sold out and demanded an encoure after every show! That experience changed me perfoundly! We were a big hit and asked to return this December 2011.
My talent and passion has allowed me to be the Opening Act for many National Recording Artists such as, Brian Culbertson, Fededric Yonnet, Dwele, Midnite Star, Maysa Leak, Shirley Murdock, Kelly Price, Bobby Floyd, Gene Walker, Wilbert Longmire, Mary McClendon, Janette Williams and numerous other outstanding artists/musicians.
I have a diverse resume, Five on The Black Hand Side, where I played Dorthy at Center Stage Theater Columbus, Ohio. For over 20 years, I traveled with several Prison Ministries and performed at numerous Ohio Prisons and two Federal Institutions: McKean Federal Prison (New York) & Alderson Federal Prison (Alderson, West Virginia). I have sang in several bands, but now I am responsible for the preparation/hiring of musicians for my performances. I was a Vocal Instructor for Worthington Music Worthington, Ohio. I am a member and one of the Lead Vocalist of the Harmony Project Choir, directed by David Brown out of New York, NY/New Orleans, La. The choir has performed at the Historical Lincoln Theather in Columbus, Ohio and larger venues to accommendate the audience. We perform two large concerts a year and other smaller events in between. Our focus is to give back to our community through Song and Action. We perform community services for different agencies: Mid Ohio Food Bank, Toys for Tots, Habitat For Humanity and many other agencies that need a helping hand. We have a CD/Video of our live performances for purchase at www.harmonyproject.com.
I have a CD titled, It's Never Too Late, which was performed live at The Lancaster Festival (Lancaster Ohio). This CD consist of several Jazz Standards. I am now endeavoring to create my own Band and working on my future CD project.
I was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and raised in Columbus, Ohio, a graduate of Marion Franklin High School, Columbus, Ohio and The Wilma Boyd Career School, Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania, and attended Columbus State Community College with valuable life time experiences. I am a mother of three children and a grandmother of three.
My mission is to bring strength, hope and happiness through song while making a difference in our world!
