Throughout the year, you need to provide me with pictures of items where you have applied the following techniques (if you don't use it in an item you are sewing on, just create a sample of it). Please have your parent e-mail me a note telling me how they thought it turned out as pictures are sometimes hard to see.
Grade 8:-Plain seam and seam finish

-Hemming
-Hand sewing
(Use Ironing and Mending Criteria Assignment for buttons, hemming, and hand sewing)
Grade 9:-Closures (zipper, Velcro, snaps-choose 2)

-Stabilizing with stitching and interfacing
