WELCOME
to my photo book
Photography is as easy as pressing a little button on the top right hand corner of a camera; just about anyone can do it. And yet there is a obvious distinction that we can recognize between a good and bad photograph. The magic of photography does not happen inside the camera; the real magic occurs between the interaction of the of consciousness behind the camera, and the streams of electrons that stream by in front of the lens.
This is the playground in which I have chosen to interact; the environment, its people, and the elements that fuse together in a way that is unique, special, and spectacular. It’s about freezing time for a fraction of a second and capturing the one moment that no one will ever see or reproduce ever again. In this moment there are remarkable situations in the everyday life, within the mundane, lies beauty, truth, and justice. Whether it’s pointing the lens at friends or total strangers, the camera always evokes a sense of curiosity, reaction, and trepidation. Sometimes the subject breaks into a smile, and other times into a threatening glare, either way, it’s totally random, beautiful, and unrepeatable. It’s life.
