Iron Devil Girl - SWIM Classes
THE MARCH BEGINNER SWIM CLASS –
Thursday Nights 7:00PM-8:30PM - CLASSES WILL RESUME SOON!
We are going to cover all of the basics. This clinic is designed for people who are new swimmers,
are struggling in masters practices, need extra help in a small group setting, or for those of you who may
want to correct some bad habits. Each clinic is 90 minutes long and includes a short discussion,
demonstration, and some drills on land followed by a 60 minute in-water session. During the in-water
session, we will do all 25's (1 length of the pool) and you will get plenty of rest because we will be
focusing on technique and not speed. If the last swim lesson that you had was when you were 8, this

-body position-kicking-propulsion-rotation -breathing-timing-sighting

Tuesday Nights 7:00PM-8:30PM
This series is designed for those who have already taken my beginner series, or for those of you
who do not seem to be improving in your races or in Masters (stuck in the slow lane) and can't figure out
why. We will explore some of the different theories and techniques that are being used by
the top coaches in both swimming and triathlon. It is for beginner to intermediate-level swimmers.
The format of this class combines a workout along with some skills and drills. The skills covered
will address both pool and open water swimming. Distances will vary but will be 25’s, 50’s 75’s and 100’s.
If you are a brand new swimmer or are having problems in the water, I would recommend that you sign
up for my Thursday Night Beginner Series
