WALL OF PERPETUAL DRAWING 2009
On the walls of my studio, using charcoal and erasers- a drawing work in a constant process of becoming and dissolving
WALL OF PERPETUAL DRAWING 2
Wall installation, "Lost", Barbur Gallery, 4th Biennale of Drawing, Jerusalem 2010-11
On the walls of the space of the gallery, I draw, erase, rub into the walls to expose its recent history, and add my own layer of activity. I spend afew days before the opening, and continue the work at the opening, on another designated date, and at random times throughout the 2 month run of the exhibition.
DISAPPEARING, 2009
festival Veneto: Spettacoli di Mistero, Venice, Italy
Site-specific live drawing action In an old Venetian palazzo I make drawings of the ornamental elements of the rooms, and place them next to the original.
At the opening I move around and slowly erase these drawings, until only faint traces remain of each.

DRAWING IN EMPTY SPACE 2008
Nachshon Gallery, Kibbutz Nachshon, Israel
On the walls of the white gallery space, using natural charcoal, I rub charcoal into the walls' surface to expose traces and remnants of previous activity in the gallery: to these I add my own layers of markings.
After the installation, I continued to work on the wall, which became a part of the next exhibition Protected Spaces in the gallery.

TOPOGRAPHICAL READINGS 2007
Ticho House, Jerusalem
I sit in the library of the home of the local landscape artist Ana Ticho, at a large table covered with books relating to Jerusalem. Using black ink and charcoal, I draw in each book with a line that carries the landscape back to its primal state, under the layers and centuries of meaning, religion and history. Intermittently an image of an eye attached to my forehead is stamped onto the page. Performed for VIP, performance event at the Ticho House, Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Israel.

Reforestation 2009
A series that uses pages from books on the history and development of the city of Tel Aviv, fused with maps of canoe routes of northern Ontario, from the artist's Canadian upbringing, The juxtapositions highlight the impossible disconnections and dislocations of the two locations, the two places I call home. [ See installation work Reforestation: A topography of longing 2004]
In my current work, I am moving back to my first love -drawing- and combining it with my site-specific performance practice.
In live action, site-specific drawing and installation, book-based works and video, and using drawing tools, natural and found material, and body, I approach drawing and mark-making as a primary activity, as process, flux, intervention and presence.
