ACCOMMODATION Spingle Barn is our new guest accommodation for 2011. Bookable as a self contained unit, sleeping 9 (additional beds available by arrangement). Pets are welcome with well behaved owners. Free Wifi throughout Spingle Barn and its gardens. Spingle Barn has two ground floor bedrooms with en-suite wetroom/shower facilities, both have level access and have been designed with both mobile and less mobile guests in mind. An additional full bathroom is situated on the ground floor for those who prefer a leisurely soak.Two further en-suite bedrooms on the first floor, one of which has a full bathroom and can be used as a family room if required. All the bedrooms are available as single,twin or double with superking sized beds and flat screen 32"LCD tv's. Satellite channels, dvd players and iPod docking stations add to guests enjoyment. Energy efficient lighting has been installed throughout Spingle Barn (its very good!).We are very pleased to say we have a Visit Britain 4 Star Gold rating.

ABOUT Spingle Barn is located on a hill farm in the pretty village of Monyash in the heart of Derbyshires Peak District National Park. The village has both a pub, which serves good food and local ales, and a cafe. Within easy reach of the market towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne there are many things to do and see around the area, both locally and further afield. The historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are a short drive from Spingle Barn while the excitement of Alton Towers, for children of all ages is just 45mins away.From Spingle Barn it is just a short walk to the head of the national nature reserve Lathkill Dale and the start of a days walking. We are also around 2 miles from the High Peak and Tissington trails where you can hire a bicycle and venture to either Ashbourne or Cromford through the fantastic Peak District countryside.In the evening you can just relax in front of the log burner or visit a restaurant in Bakewell or even take in a show at the Opera House in Buxton. With so much to see and do around the Peaks it is the ideal family holiday choice.
